The White Mountains of New Hampshire have been part of my life experience for as long as I can remember.  My grandparents often took me into them for hikes and picnics as a young boy.  More than 50 years later, I still marvel at the beauty of this region.  During my career as an analyst, I traveled the country often, but I never saw anything which compared to them.
