The Kancamagus Highway is one of the natural treasures of New Hampshire.  My wife and I visit it at least a couple times each year.  This year we have visited it even more.  Somehow we are drawn to it more than in the past.
This trip we decided to check out a few of the unnamed pull offs as well as a few of the more popular stops.  The sky was wonderful, and the temperatures moderate.  The colors were just starting to turn at some of the higher elevations.
The highlight of the trip was a stop at the Albany Covered Bridge which we had never visited.  Beyond the bridge, the grounds and trails quite interesting to explore.  We hope to go back sometime and make a day of it.
